After I upgraded to IOS 10, I noticed that my iPad was not going to sleep after 2 minutes; this is the setting I had on IOS 9.
And of course they have moved AutoLock in Settings!
Check that your iPad goes to sleep and is not always on. Reset it if you recently upgraded to ISO 10.
