IOS 11 has a new keyboard, if you haven’t noticed. It now has numbers buried on the top of the letter keys that you flick or scroll down to activate- it is actually quite a cool tool once you get used to it. You no longer have to hit the number key to get to the numbers.

There is, in fact, an option to undo a typing error on the iPad; it’s hidden in the iPad keyboard. Here’s how to get to each of them. Grab an iPad and launch an app that does text input, like Notes. Tap into a text editing field and type something. Once you’ve typed something in, tap the “.?123” button in the lower left corner of the keyboard, and you’ll see the undo option. Tap it to undo whatever it is you just typed and then you can start typing again.
